Heather Parkinson-Webb

Rev. Dr. Heather P. Wright graduated from the University of Virginia, holds a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Masters in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. She attained a Doctor of Ministry degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary.

She is a licensed professional counselor, spiritual director and ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). After having taught in graduate school and seminary for nine years, Heather has returned to the ministry. She serves as the Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Care for Greenwich Chaplaincy Services, working in the area nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Greenwich, CT. She is the author of Redeeming Eve: Finding Hope beyond the Struggles of Life (Baker Book House, 2002) and Small Group Leadership as Spiritual Direction (Zondervan, 2005).

She is honored to serve alongside a fine team of dedicated and caring individuals.

Holly Adams

Reverend Adams graduated from Smith College with a degree in Sociology, from Fordham University where she earned a Masters degree in Social Work, and from Yale Divinity School where she received a Master of Divinity degree.  In addition, she has pursued three units of Clinical Pastoral Education, first at Norwalk Hospital and most recently with the Spiritual Care Department of Greenwich Hospital.

Holly is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ.  Formerly a corporate training manager, outplacement counselor, executive consultant and spiritual advisor, Holly has pursued her call to ministry, and particularly to pastoral care, as the culmination of her professional life.   She is a guest preacher at area churches in addition to her participation in Greenwich Chaplaincy Services.

Holly believes that in following the commandment of Moses and the Gospel, we, as children of God, can love and honor one another by walking together in our life journeys.  Holly is honored to serve the residents, their families and the staff of The Greens, Greenwich Woods, and Connecticut Health of Greenwich as part of her own journey.   A singer with the Greenwich Choral Society, she brings a love of music to worship services as a universal form of praise and thanksgiving.  As a storyteller herself, she finds joy in listening to the life stories of those she serves, and in so doing, honoring those lives with meaning and purposefulness.

A mother of three adult children, and a grandmother of four boys, Holly lives in Rowayton CT with  her orange cat, Sam.

Tony Correale

Mr. Correale began serving as a lay chaplain with Greenwich Chaplaincy Services in Sept. 2005. His ongoing education in lay ministry has included a 2 year program in Pastoral Care Studies at the Blanton-Peale Institute in NYC, 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), and serving as a volunteer in the Oncology Unit and with the Spiritual Care Dept. of Greenwich Hospital.

He first came to Nathaniel Witherell as a CPE student in the Fall of 2001 and subsequently continued serving as a volunteer for about 3 years after that. Tony is a member and deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich. He lives in Cos Cob with his wife Cora Burnham and their dog Penny.

Tony’s own life has been immeasurably enriched through personal contact and relationships with so many residents, family members and staff at Nathaniel Witherell. He considers it an incredible privilege to be able to accompany people at various stages of their life journeys through visits, programs, services, and worship, and feels grateful to his family, friends and colleagues for their support.

Modesta Murphy

Ms. Murphy has been with the Greenwich Chaplaincy Services since the beginning of summer of 2007. Trained as a professional artist, Modesta studied at Parsons School of Design in New York and continued course work at the Art Students League and Silvermine School of Art. She has also completed a two year program in Spiritual Direction and Counseling from the Diocese of Bridgeport, and a two year Spiritual Direction Practicum from the Mercy Center in Madison, CT.

She is Roman Catholic and dedicated to her work as a Spiritual Director for the past seven years. Modesta studied one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Stamford hospital.

Modesta brings her own personal perspective to her chaplaincy ministry as care giver for her husband Ken, who has had Alzheimer's disease for many years and now resides in a nursing home. “He is an inspiration and helps me turn our relationship into a gift for others.” Modesta enjoys her family of three sons, one daughter and five grandchildren.

Cally Herring

Sally Herring joined the Greenwich Chaplaincy as Administrative Assistant in September of 2009. For the past 26 year she has worked at Christ Church Greenwich as Assistant Parish Secretary and then
Parish Secretary. She is in the process to become a Vocational Deacon in the Episcopal Church and is finishing up her first unit of CPE at the Norwalk Hospital.

A graduate of Hollins College with a double major in Art and Biology, she
spent a year studying art in Florence following college. She then worked at
Mass. General Hospital in Boston for four years before marrying and moving
to New York, London, Madrid, Memphis and Montreal and back to New York with
her international banker husband, Tom. They returned to Darien, CT in 1975
where she raised their two sons, Pendleton and Charles. Pen now is married
and lives in Newport Beach, CA with his wife, Wendy, and Charles lives in
the Cove in Stamford, CT.

Sally enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, traveling, especially in Maine
