The Reverend KAREN EILER
(Chaplain and Director of Greenwich Chaplaincy Services)
Rev. Eiler has a wealth of ministry and business experience, having worked at IBM for many years before finally agreeing with God that she was indeed called to ministry. She attended Yale Divinity School, and served as the Pastor of Rowayton United Methodist Church prior to joining GCS. She currently has a dual role, serving as GCS Director and as a chaplain providing spiritual support to residents at The Nathaniel Witherell and other care facilities in Greenwich.
The Reverend Joan Osgood
Joan is a graduate of the State University of New York at Purchase. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Yale University. For twenty six years Joan served as the Senior Associate Pastor at Stanwich Congregational Church in Greenwich. She is also a teacher in the ecumenical Bible Study held weekly at Christ Church in Greenwich. Joan serves as the Lead Chaplain at Greenwich Woods Health Care Facility.
Tony came to GCS as a CPE student in the Fall of 2001 and continued serving as a volunteer for three more years. Tony began serving as a chaplain in 2005 and found that his own life had been immeasurably enriched through personal contact and relationship with so many residents, family members and staff.
He considers it an incredible privilege to be able to accompany people at various stages of their life journeys through visits, programs, and services. Tony has also served as deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich. He is currently the Lead Chaplain at The Nathaniel Witherell.
Jacky Schofield, a Greenwich native, holds a BA in Anthropology and Mid-East Studies from Fordham University. She earned a Master of Divinity in 2007 from Yale Divinity School. Jacky began working with Greenwich Chaplaincy Services in 2008, and as a Chaplain at Stamford Hospital since 2012. In addition, Jacky co-founded and serves as Chairperson for the Disabilities Ministries Team of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ, which seeks to help churches become more aware of and understanding of people with disabilities. She formerly served as Chairperson for the First Selectman’s Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities in Greenwich. Jacky is currently an In-Care candidate for Ordination at the Second Congregational Church in Greenwich.
Genise Reid, a native New Yorker, is a consultant to faith-based and faith-friendly organizations. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies (Cornell University), M.A. and Ed.M. degrees in Psychological Counseling (Columbia University), and an Ed.D. in Adult Learning and Leadership (also from Columbia University). Apart from her consulting role with GCS, Genise is a researcher with Kingston Bay Group, a consulting firm that addresses issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.
